Inorganic Passive Sampler (SO2, NO2 and O3)
About
In our country, outdoor air quality is required to be determined within the scope of the Regulation on the Control of Industrial Air Pollution and the Regulation on Air Quality Assessment and Management, and for this purpose, imported passive samplers are used in our country. In this study, inorganic pollutant parameters (SO2, NO2 and O3A passive sampler has been produced for (1).
Product Overview
Passive samplers are increasingly being used throughout the country every year within the scope of preparation of clean air plans, air pollution mapping and/or air quality determination studies. The fact that passive samplers are simple, easily portable and inexpensive, as well as providing the opportunity to sample at multiple points simultaneously without the need for electrical power, makes passive samplers advantageous compared to other sampling methods in regional scale air quality measurements.
Within the scope of this study, the products to be developed using Anadolu University and TÜBİTAK MAM infrastructure; In addition to on-line measurement devices used in determining outdoor air quality, it is preferred because it is economical, easy to use, and creates the opportunity to sample at many points simultaneously in all regions without the need for energy. It is aimed to prevent imports by commercializing the products produced in a small number of countries in the world for the first time in our country.
