Climate Research and Water Management
Climate Research and Water Management GroupWe develop water systems that are resilient to climate change and disasters, and work to ensure the sustainability of our water resources. Our goal is to protect tomorrow's resources while meeting today's needs. With the smart and innovative environmental technologies we develop, we strengthen the capacity of cities, industries and natural ecosystems to adapt to climate change. We produce science-based solutions ranging from water and wastewater management to greenhouse gas mitigation. We develop methodologies for greenhouse gas emission mitigation and risk assessment in sectors such as industry, transportation, agriculture-livestock, energy and tourism on a national and regional scale, and identify strategies for adaptation to climate change. In cooperation with all stakeholders from local governments to the private sector, we develop holistic action plans for societies resilient to climate change and disasters.
Since 2002, we have been conducting characterization and evaluations in all matrices in the field of environment with our TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard Accreditation certificate infrastructure that meets the demands of research projects, public institutions and industrial sectors. We carry out reliable and internationally traceable analysis studies with Air Pollution Measurement and Analysis, Odor Analysis, Water Management and Treatment Technologies, Hazardous Waste Analysis, EK-3 Analysis Laboratories with advanced analysis equipment infrastructure.
We continue our R&D project activities with national and international collaborations with our experienced staff, most of whom are PhD researchers.
