The Recovery and Cleaner Production Technologies Laboratory has an infrastructure where innovative analyses are carried out to reduce the environmental impact of waste and support sustainable resource management. The laboratory provides services in many areas such as characterization, reuse potential analysis, biodegradability, calorific value and pollutant measurements for solid and liquid wastes. It also conducts Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies, which enable the holistic assessment of the environmental impacts of products and processes. The laboratory contributes to the production of scientific knowledge in line with the principles of circular economy by hosting experimental studies for the development of cleaner production technologies and making industrial processes environmentally friendly.
