MATERIAL
UV Resin Based Ceramic 3D Printer Sludge
About
Ceramic-added 3D printer resin is a strategic capability that demonstrates Turkey's competence in advanced materials and additive manufacturing technologies. This technology, which has reached THS 6 level, has the potential to reduce dependence on imported special raw materials in critical sectors such as defense, aerospace and medical, and to enable the domestic production of customized/project-specific, high-performance ceramic parts.
Product Overview
It is a high-tech photopolymer resin (slurry) formulation reinforced with ceramic powder that enables the production of dense and high-performance ceramic parts with complex geometry using light curing (UV) 3D printer technologies (SLA, DLP).

Current Status
The prototype can be actively produced as resin.
Production Capacity
1 kg/month. This capacity is on a pilot production scale to meet the demands for R&D, technology demonstration and custom parts manufacturing.
Technical Capabilities and Capacity
This technology allows ceramic parts that are difficult or impossible to produce by conventional methods to be produced by additive manufacturing.
Working Principle
Liquid resin containing a high proportion of ceramic powder is selectively cured layer by layer with UV light in a 3D printer. At the end of this process, a structure called a "green part" is obtained, in which ceramic powders are held together by a polymer binder. This part is then subjected to binder removal (debinding) and sintering (high-temperature firing) to form the final, dense ceramic product.
Key Technical Specifications
Yüksek Seramik Oranı (>%70): It has a very high ceramic filler content, which is critical for the production of final parts with high density and minimum shrinkage after sintering.
Compliance with SLA and DLP Technologies: It is optimized for Stereolithography (SLA) and Digital Light Processing (DLP) type 3D printers, enabling high-resolution and precision part production.
High Penetration Depth: It allows UV light to penetrate effectively between the resin layers, ensuring that the bond between the layers is strong and the part mechanically durable.
- Areas of Use
- Space and Aviation: Turbine blades with complex internal channels, lightweight and durable structural components.
- Medical and Dental: Customized dental implants, crowns, bridges (from biocompatible ceramics such as zirconia), surgical guides.
- Electronics and Communication: Insulating surfaces (substrates) specially designed for high frequency circuits.
- Jewelry Production of master molds for casting highly detailed and precise jewelry models.
