Fuel Cell Module
About
The 1-5 kWe Fuel Cell Module is an important step that shows that Turkey has reached the level of system integration in energy technologies. This prototype at the THS 6 level has the potential to contribute to energy security and independence, especially in strategic areas such as the defense industry and civil defense. The completion of the system's field tests and reaching higher technology readiness levels will constitute a critical next step for the proliferation of domestic and national solutions in this field.
Product Overview
It is a fully integrated Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cell system that produces power in the range of 1 to 5 kWe (kilowatt-electric) using hydrogen fuel. This module is a field-oriented power unit that is built by combining key components.

Technical Capabilities and Capacity
This module provides a clean and reliable energy solution for portable and stationary applications.
Power Range
1 - 5 kWe. This power level is sufficient to meet the basic emergency power needs of small military units, critical communication systems or a residential house.
Technology
It uses Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell technology that operates at low temperature. This technology offers advantages such as quiet operation, high efficiency and zero emissions.
- Areas of Use
- Disaster Situations and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): It can be used as a reliable energy source for communication, lighting and medical devices in disasters such as earthquakes and floods. An important advantage is that it is silent and emission-free compared to conventional generators.
- Military Applications: It provides "silent watch" capability in border outposts or operation zones, meets the energy needs of portable military equipment and reduces thermal/acoustic signature.
- Civil Practices: It has the potential to be used as an auxiliary power unit (APU) in off-grid areas (chalets, agricultural areas), telecommunication base stations or mobile platforms such as caravans/boats.
