In the Sealing Glass Technologies and Functional Coatings Laboratory, multidisciplinary R&D studies focusing on the development of advanced non-metal materials are carried out. In the laboratory, special glass systems that provide high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and hermetic protection are designed and produced for glass-metal welding sealing applications. Aiming to develop innovative solutions for the defense industry, energy, environment and advanced manufacturing sectors, our laboratory continues its activities on glass and glass-ceramic systems, functional surface coatings, biocomposite materials, carbon-composite materials.
