The Board of Directors and Regional Delegates of the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO) visited TÜBİTAK MAM on May 21, 2015 with the aim of sharing information and developing collaborations. TÜBİTAK MAM President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu, TÜBİTAK MAM Vice Presidents, Institute Directors and Researchers attended the meeting. The meeting started with the opening speech of TÜBİTAK MAM President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu and continued with the speech of WAITRO President Prof. Dr. Charles Kwesiga. Then, following the TÜBİTAK presentation by TÜBİTAK International Cooperation Department and the TÜBİTAK MAM presentation by Prof. Dr. Şaban Tekin, Director of the Institute of Gene Engineering and Biotechnology, the meeting continued with the speeches of WAITRO Secretary General and Regional Delegates sharing their experiences. After the meeting, Institute visits were made at TÜBİTAK MAM Gebze Campus.
