Last week, Food Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cesarettin Alaşalvar and Expert Researcher Ferruh Naki Adoğlu visited Kayseri Sugar Factory in Kayseri on 23 March 2016. Necdet Barlas, Strategy Planning Unit Manager, also attended the visit. During the meeting, Kayseri Sugar Factory delegation headed by General Manager Levent Benli was informed about TUBITAK Marmara Research Center and Food Institute and Food Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cesarettin Alaşalvar gave examples of collaborations in the sector and possible joint works. After the meeting, the program ended with a tour of the factory and R&D Center.
