"VII. Thermal Power Plant Workshop" organized by TUBITAK Marmara Research Center Energy Institute and EÜAŞ was held in Belek-Antalya between 12-15 November 2014 with the participation of 114 people from EÜAŞ, Yıldız Technical University and MAM.

Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir BALIKÇI and Researchers; from EÜAŞ, EÜAŞ Deputy General Manager Mr. İrfan YILMAZ, subsidiary SEAŞ General Manager Mr. İrfan YILMAZ. İrfan YILMAZ, General Manager of the subsidiary SEAŞ, Mr. Nuri ŞERİFOĞLU, Department Heads. Mr. Nuri ŞERİFOĞLU, Heads of Departments, Branch Managers, Assistant Managers, Chief Engineers, Engineers; Deputy Managers, Chief Engineers and Engineers of Thermal Power Plant Operations and Mr. Bahri ŞAHOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime Studies at Yıldız Technical University. Prof. Dr. Bahri ŞAHİN, Dean of the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime Studies at Yıldız Technical University, Prof. Prof. Dr. İsmail TEKE and some faculty members from the Faculty of Machinery of Yıldız Technical University.

During the four-day workshop, presentations were made under three main headings.

Deputy Operation Managers, Chief Engineers and engineers of the relevant power plants informed the participants about the technical problems and bottlenecks encountered in their power plants, and mutual exchanges of ideas were carried out interactively among the participants for solutions. In addition, requests regarding the issues that are suggested to be prioritized in future workshops were evaluated.
