On 07.08.2013, a meeting and technical visit was held regarding the competence of the Port Waste Reception Facilities of TÜPRAŞ and İZAYDAŞ, which receive waste according to Annex-1 and Annex-2 of the Marpol Convention in order to determine the Port Waste Reception Facilities to be included in the Waste Management Plans to be prepared within the scope of the "Preparation of Waste Management Plans of Wastes Generated as a Result of Ship Accidents and Rehabilitation of Polluted Areas Project" signed by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center. On September 18, 2014, Serpil Durak, Derya Didem Uğur, Mücella Cebeci, Nesibe Obuz and Dr. Arzu Olgun and Dr. Özgür Doğan from our Institute participated in the meeting and technical visit.
