Within the scope of the ANEMONE "Assessing The Vulnerability of the Black Sea Marine Ecosystem to Human Pressures" project supported by the "Black Sea Basin Joint Operation Program (2014-2020)", of which we are one of the partners, the Black Sea joint expedition with Romania's Mare Nigrum research vessel started with the departure of the vessel from Constanta Port on 30 September 2019.

Three researchers representing TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) are participating in the expedition. With the expedition, which is planned to last approximately 8 days, sampling and measurement studies are planned to increase knowledge about the Western Black Sea marine ecosystem and to make a joint assessment.
