TÜBİTAK MAM WINDS AT FIELD EXPO 2022

TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) participated in the third SAHA EXPO Defense, Aerospace and Space Industry Fair.

250 foreign and 750 local companies from 57 countries came together at the fair where local and foreign products were introduced.

The opening ceremony of SAHA EXPO, organized with the participation and support of the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Trade and Presidency of Defence Industries, was attended by Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defence; Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology; Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Ministers of Industry and Technology; Ali Yerlikaya, Governor of Istanbul; İsmail Demir, President of Defence Industries; and Haluk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAHA Istanbul.

High Technology Products Introduced

In the organization, which brought together manufacturers, suppliers and companies producing for the defence, air, naval and space industries, our national technologies and R&D competencies were introduced. In addition, B2B meetings were held.

TÜBİTAK MAM introduced its Chemical Warfare Agents Detection System in Drinking Water, Chemical Warfare Agents Detection Device (MAM-CDET), Fuel Cell Charging System, Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Holder Calipatron, Plastic Bound Explosives, Open Porous and Lightweight Metal Structures Metal Foam - Honeycomb - Lattice, High Temperature Carbon Composite Material, Crystal Turbine Blade and Space Qualified Solar Panel products. The products attracted great interest from the visitors.

Intense Interest in TÜBİTAK MAM Stand from Bureaucracy

Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, İsmail Demir, President of the Defense Industry, Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Ministers of Industry and Technology, and senior bureaucrats visited the TÜBİTAK MAM stand and received information about our products.

Visit to Defense Industry Companies

TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and TÜBİTAK Vice President and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil visited the stands of many companies engaged in production in different fields in the defense industry and examined the fields and products of the companies on site.

Important Collaborations from TÜBİTAK MAM

TÜBİTAK MAM Energetic Material, which exhibits its capabilities in ammunition and systems required by the defense, aviation and space industry, has signed important collaborations in the field of defense and space industry.

Signed a cooperation protocol with ASSAN GROUP in order to minimize foreign dependency in the production of Energetic Materials.

In addition, a cooperation protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK MAM, Deltav Space Inc. and 3D WOVEN Inc. With the agreement, critical parts that Turkey will need in the field of defense and space industry will be produced.
