The signing ceremony for the projects that were deemed worthy of support as a result of the "Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call" opened for the first time by TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) in 2022 was held at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Knowledge Commercialization Center.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa VARANK, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of MAM Prof. Dr. Ahmet YOZGATLIGIL, representatives from the public, academia and business world.
TÜBİTAK MAM "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Monitoring Climate Change Impacts with New Generation Air Quality Measurement Systems Project" prepared by the Air Quality and Environmental Noise Technologies Research Group under the Vice Presidency of Climate Change and Sustainability was among the projects deemed worthy of support within the scope of the call.
The project aims to develop innovative solutions supported by the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence in order to increase the measurement quality of low-cost sensors and to ensure the continuity of measurement data in a healthy and accurate manner economically. In addition, it is planned to carry out spatial optimization studies using artificial intelligence technologies. Thus, it is aimed to realize the optimum number of measurement systems, which are produced more economically than their counterparts, to best represent the air quality in a certain area.
TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call Contract Signing Ceremony ended with a group photo shoot.
