"TÜBİTAK MAM INSTITUTES Horizon 2020 ROADMAP WORKSHOP", coordinated by the Proposal and Contract Unit under the Vice Presidency of TUBITAK UIDB and TÜBİTAK MAM Business Development and Industrialization, was held on 10-11 November 2016 at MAM Presidency Conference Hall.
"TÜBİTAK MAM INSTITUTES HORIZON 2020 ROADMAP WORKSHOP" coordinated by TUBITAK NCCU and the Proposal and Contract Unit under the Vice Presidency of TÜBİTAK MAM Business Development and Industrialization was held on 10-11 November 2016 with the participation of Hakan KARATAŞ, Head of International Cooperation Department of TUBITAK, Dr. İbrahim BEKAR, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM Business Development and Industrialization, TÜBİTAK MAM Institute Managers, TÜBİTAK MAM Horizon 2020 Institute Contact Points and researchers, National Contact Points at TUBITAK UKO. İbrahim BEKAR, TÜBİTAK MAM Institute Managers, TÜBİTAK MAM Horizon 2020 Institute Liaison Points and researchers in charge, experts working as National Liaison Points in TÜBİTAK UKO took place at MAM Presidency Conference Hall.
The first day of the workshop started with opening speeches and presentations by Hakan KARATAŞ and Dr. İbrahim BEKAR and ended with presentations and evaluation speeches by TÜBİTAK MAM Institute Managers on "Research Priorities of the Institute, Horizon 2020 Participation Vision, Realized/Planned Activities, Strengths and Weaknesses, Challenges and Expectations".
On the second day of the event, Horizon 2020 Calls Area Based Institute Interviews were held, and simultaneous sessions were held where Institute Strategies for Horizon 2020 were discussed and one-to-one meetings were held on the call topics.
During the event, where the problems and solutions experienced by the researchers working in TÜBİTAK MAM institutes in Horizon 2020 application and project execution processes were discussed, sessions were held to create road maps and action plans to increase the recognition of TÜBİTAK MAM Institutes in the European Union Commission calls and the Horizon 2020 application success rate.
The results of the workshop were shared with presentations made by TÜBİTAK MAM EU Horizon 2020 Institute Contact Points. At the end of the workshop, the evaluation and closing part was completed with the participation of TÜBİTAK Vice President Dr. Orkun HASEKİOĞLU.
