The launch of the CBRN Focus Technology Network (CBRN FTAĞ) organized by the SSB was held on November 17, 2022. OTAĞ activities, which will be carried out in order to determine the current capabilities in the field of CBRN Technologies in our country, to evaluate the studies carried out in the world, and to identify the technology issues that need to be studied in our country in the short, medium and long term, are planned to be carried out under the "Detection/Detection Technologies", "Protection Technologies", and "Decontamination Technologies" Focus Working Groups. As a result of the OTAĞ activities, a CBRN Technology Roadmap will be prepared.

The Launch Meeting was attended by the personnel of the CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group under the TÜBİTAK MAM Life Sciences Vice Presidency and a presentation was made within the scope of the activities to be carried out in this field as the Leader of the Decontamination Technologies Focus Working Group. CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group Leader Dr. Ebru KIZILAY ALTINEL and Team Leaders Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel MUSLUOĞLU and Dr. Melek EROL serve on the CBRN Focal Working Group Steering Committee. In the 1-year CBRN OTAĞ studies, it is planned that the CBRN Defense Technologies Research Group will take an active role in all focus working groups.
