The "2015 Research and Support Awards Ceremony" within the scope of the TÜBİTAK MAM Research and Support Awards, which are traditionally organized every year to encourage success and appreciate employees, was held at TÜBİTAK MAM on 31 May 2016 with the participation of MAM President, MAM Vice Presidents, BİLGEM President, BİLGEM Vice Presidents, TÜSSİDE Director, MAM Institute and Unit Managers, and many MAM employees.
Following the opening speech made by TÜBİTAK MAM President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu, certificates of appreciation were presented to "Employees who have completed 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 years at TÜBİTAK MAM" and awards were presented to the employees who were entitled to receive awards in the categories of "Research Support", "Technology Development", "Innovation" and "Most Successful Research Team" within the scope of "MAM Research and Support Awards".
Ferdağ Aydoğan from the Human Resources Department and Harun Kocaağa from the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology received the "Research Support Award", which is given within the scope of all kinds of information, experience, sharing, training and consultancy support, testing and analysis studies, method and process development studies carried out to make all studies carried out more efficient and effective.
The "Technology Development Award", which is given in consideration of the economic benefit that the developed products and technologies will provide to our country, was awarded to the "Development of Warm Mix Asphalt Production Technologies" Project Team; Dr. Hansu Julide Köroğlu, Dr. Pembe Hande Öz, Dr. Şerife Sarıoğlan, Dr. Bahar Özmen Monkul, Selcen Temel, Mahmut Ateş, Dr. Eyüp Şimşek and Osman Kurulu from TÜBİTAK MAM Chemical Technology Institute.
The "Innovation Award", which was given by taking into account the innovative nature and application potential of the products and technologies developed, was presented to the "Development and Production of New Generation Antimicrobial and Hemostatic Composite Meshes for Surgical Applications" Project Team; Assoc. Prof. Serdar Sezer, Assoc. Prof. Hacer Doğan, Ümran Aydemir Sezer, Kevser Öztürk, Nevin Bekir, Dr. Alican Vatansever and Dr. Merve Gürtekin Seden from TÜBİTAK MAM Chemical Technology Institute.
Mustafa Ziypak, Head of R&D Department at TKİ, received the "Collaboration Award", which is given to our external stakeholders who have made the biggest gains with their work in cooperation with TÜBİTAK MAM, on behalf of the Turkish Coal Enterprises Authority.
Özgür Tanıdır, İsmail Elma, Sinan Eren, Mustafa Ozan Çakır, Ali Haydar Güverçinci, Engin Berk Özmen, Okan Bonçukcu, Yunus Can Ölmez, Burak Özsoy and Yusuf Yanık from the "Power Systems Analysis and Planning Group" Project Team of the TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute received the "Most Successful Research Team Award", which is given to the working group that has made the most significant contribution to our organization in the fields of technology, products and scientific studies with their work.
The ceremony ended with a cocktail after the presentation of the awards.
