"Cooperation Development Workshop" organized by TCDD General Directorate and TÜBİTAK was held on June 15, 2019 at TÜSSİDE.
At the workshop, the issue of cooperation opportunities and capabilities in the "development" and "localization" of new technologies required for safe railway operations was discussed.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK, Ali İhsan Uygun, General Manager of TCDD, departments within TCDD, Hayri Avcı, General Manager of TÜLOMSAŞ, Mehmet Başoğlu, General Manager of TÜDEMSAŞ, Prof. Dr. İlhan Kocaarslan, General Manager of TÜVASAŞ, and Baran Bıyık, General Manager of RAYSİMAŞ. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Prof. Dr. Haci Ali Mantar, President of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, managers and researchers from TÜBİTAK Institutes, as well as officials from railway sector companies that are subsidiaries and affiliates of TCDD.
