TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) participated in the "Graduate Research Symposium and Presentation Days 2019" organized by Gebze Technical University (GTU) Institute of Science and Technology on 17-18 June 2019. 

GTU Institute of Science and Technology Director Prof. Dr. Arif Çağdaş Aydınoğlu and Rector The symposium started with the opening speeches of Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hasan Aslan, It continued with the presentation of Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan stated that domestic products should be supported and that technological development in our country is possible by producing knowledge and using knowledge in the right way. In the continuation of the presentation, Mr. Kılıçaslan emphasized the importance of producing high-tech industrial products in order for our country to get out of the middle income trap and emphasized that universities play an important role in knowledge production.

At the MAM Stand, which attracted great interest from students, information about TÜBİTAK MAM was shared.

GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hasan Aslan for his participation and support TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan was presented with a plaque and a certificate of appreciation.
