Our project, realized under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, won a major award at the Turkish Confederation of Employers' Associations (TISK) Common Tomorrows Project Competition. Our project, which was deemed worthy of the award in the "Possible Together" category with 30 thousand public votes, attracted attention with its pioneering and innovative approach to Turkey's future.
This significant achievement stands out as the crowning of a nationally prominent scientific work in the competition, which was evaluated according to the criteria of effectiveness, inclusiveness, good practice, sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, digitalization, work culture, hygiene and well-being. The solution-oriented approach and scientific contributions of our project won the appreciation of the jury members.
On December 1, World Antarctica Day, at the award ceremony held with the participation of Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal received the award symbolizing the success of the project, once again demonstrating Turkey's high potential in the field of science and technology.
This significant achievement was recorded as an important step not only in the world of science, but also in the fields of social development and sustainability. With the success of the project, TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute has further reinforced Turkey's strong stance on science and technology in the international arena.
