We Returned with Hydrogen Technologies Award at ICCI Energy Award Ceremony

The ICCI Energy Award Ceremony, where Turkey's leading companies in the energy sector are awarded, was held in Ankara on December 6 this year. The ceremony brought together the leading professionals of the energy sector, supporting projects that increase Turkey's sustainable energy potential.

 

Within the scope of ICCI 2023 Energy Awards, the best of the applications made in a total of 9 categories including Renewable Power Plants, Hybrid Power Plants, Cogeneration Power Plants, Innovative Technologies, Local Technology Producers and Hydrogen Technologies were awarded.

 

In the Hydrogen Technologies category, TUBITAK MAM's "Development of PEM Type Electrolyzer" project was awarded the ICCI 2023 Energy Award. Dr. Osman OKUR, Vice President of TUBITAK MAM, received this award from Prof. Dr. Filiz Karaosmanoğlu.

 

Hydrogen production from renewable energy sources is becoming increasingly important in Turkey, as in the rest of the world, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In this direction, the "Development of a PEM Type Electrolyzer" project completed by TUBITAK MAM Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Research Group aimed to develop a domestic electrolyzer system for green hydrogen production, and with the successful completion of the project, a first domestic PEM type electrolyzer system with a capacity of 10 kW, THS level 7 and a module efficiency of % 76 was developed.

 

ICCI Energy Award Ceremony aims to bring together the key stakeholders of the energy sector in Turkey, to encourage developments in the energy sector and to support future projects. In this context, it brings together the leading professionals of the energy sector, industrialists, public administrators and academicians.
