Between June 30 - July 1, 2021, the researchers of the Institute of Chemical Technology participated in the "Horizon Europe Civil Security for Society Infoday and Brokerage Event" with different teams and continue their meetings with different institutions and organizations within the framework of EU project calls and with the aim of increasing other possible international collaborations.

In this context, a zoom meeting was held on August 5 with Erik Jung, Physicist and Business Development Officer at Frauenhofer IZM. In the meeting led by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hocaoğlu, the fields of study of both institutions were introduced and possible cooperation opportunities were discussed.

At the meeting, it was decided to initiate a consortium in the field of CBRN protective technologies under the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 Civil Security for Society or EFECS 2021 program under the leadership of the two institutions.
