Between 18-20 December 2013, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization General Directorate of Environmental Management organized a training on "Regulation on Control of Odor Forming Emissions". Participants from the Ministry and Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization were trained by the Institute of Environment and Cleaner Production.

Within the scope of the training, Dr. Faruk DINÇER made presentations on "Information on the Formation of Odor and Odor Emissions", "Odor Emission Measurements" and "Information on Odor Control Measures". In addition, the olfactometer device in our Institute was set up during the training and the participants actively participated in the analyzes.

During the training, field studies were also carried out and samples were taken from the deodorization unit in the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Expert Technician Serhat ÇALI explained to the participants how the sampling was done practically.
