On December 17, 2013, a meeting of the Working Group of the KIYITEMA Project was held at the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, 22nd floor, 1st meeting room. Information on the studies carried out within the scope of KIYITEMA project, current situation, field studies, status of laboratory analyzes and toxicity tests were given by Project Manager Ms. Gülsen Avaz. In the continuation of the meeting, Dr. Sevil Deniz Yakan Dündar from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Naval and Marine Technology Engineering presented the methodology for determining environmental quality standards. The meeting was attended by 35 experts from 11 different institutions. The participating institutions were Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK MAM, ITU, METU, TUPRAS, AFAD, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and TOBB.
