The 2nd TEKNOFEST Istanbul Aviation, Space and Technology Festival was opened at Istanbul Atatürk Airport by our Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank.
In his speech at the opening ceremony of TEKNOFEST Istanbul Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, Minister Çavuşoğlu said: "The young people who launch rockets, race UAVs and produce energy vehicles here today will design the most modern airplanes, smart cities and space vehicles of tomorrow. Astronauts, cosmonauts, scientists and technology entrepreneurs will emerge from the youth here. The young people here will carry us to our dreams."
Advising young people to be entrepreneurs, the Minister said, "Generate ideas and most importantly invent. Never give up dreaming and pursuing those dreams."
Our Minister, who examined the projects within the scope of the festival, visited the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) stand together with Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and T3 Foundation Chairman Haluk Bayraktar.
