Within the scope of the Energy Efficient LED Lighting Technologies Research, Development, Training and Application Center Project (EVATEG), the "Şile Energy Demonstration Center-LEDof "oid On Friday, October 11, 2013, it was inaugurated at the terminal square in Şile.
Opening speeches were made by Mayor of Şile, Architect Can TABAKOĞLU, Istanbul Deputy Bilal MACİT and EVATEG Project Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ARIK. TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır TUNABOYLU and a group of researchers also attended the event.
The project aims to raise social awareness by drawing attention to the fact that the use of light emitting diodes (LED/OLED) in indoor and outdoor lighting provides energy efficiency and reduces environmental pollution.
