Mr. Seddar Yavuz, Governor of Kocaeli. Seddar Yavuz visited TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on August 05, 2021.

Welcomed by TÜBİTAK MAM President V. Dr. Osman Okur and Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy and Mehmet Sait Karaca, Governor of Kocaeli, Mr. Seddar Yavuz inspected the TÜBİTAK MAM laboratory. Mr. Seddar Yavuz made inspections in the TÜBİTAK MAM laboratory. Within the scope of the program, Mr. Seddar Yavuz, Governor of Kocaeli, visited the Supercritical Fluid Extraction Facility of the Institute of Chemical Technology (KTE) and was briefed on site by MAM President Dr. Osman Okur and the researchers on duty about MAM products and infrastructure. In addition, the fires in our country were evaluated and information was given about the measures taken against fires on our campus.

After the visit, Mr. Seddar Yavuz, Governor of Kocaeli and Dr. Osman Okur, President of TÜBİTAK MAM presented a plaque to each other. Seddar Yavuz and TÜBİTAK MAM President Dr. Osman Okur presented plaques to each other.
