During the visit, which was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM and attended by the administrators and researchers of the Institutes of Environment and Cleaner Production, Gene Engineering and Biotechnology, Food and Energy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı presented a plaque to the Gambia Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, Dr. Aboubacar Senghore in memory of the day.
The delegation visited the Water and Wastewater and Solid Waste laboratories of the Environment and Cleaner Production Institute; the Vehicle, Battery and Gasification laboratories of the Energy Institute; the Medical Biotechnology, Enzyme and Microbial Biotechnology, Diagnostic Technologies laboratories of the Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institute; and the pilot plant of the Food Institute to get information about the work carried out at the institutes.
