"Cleaner Production Training" organized within the scope of the "Determination of Resource Efficiency Potential in Industry Project" was held on 15-16 January 2015 at TÜBİTAK MAM campus Environment and Cleaner Production Institute (ÇTÜE). The training was attended by 11 researchers from TÜBİTAK MAM ÇTÜE and the project advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz KILIÇASLAN, a faculty member at Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Economics, and his team.
The training was given by Prof. Dr. Göksel N. Demirer from METU Environmental Engineering Department. Within the scope of the 2-day training; the concept of cleaner production, cleaner production practices in the world, the development and current situation of cleaner production in Turkey were evaluated. At the same time, examples of cleaner production practices in various sectors such as food, textile and paper were realized.
