TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Environment and Cleaner Production Institute (ÇTÜE) carries out Cleaner Production and Resource Efficiency studies in line with the demands of institutions such as Development Agencies, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chambers of Industry, etc., especially the private sector. In the studies carried out in line with these studies, water, raw material and energy consumption of the enterprises are examined and analyzed on site and hot spots in the processes are identified. Cleaner production possibilities for the improvement of hot spots are identified and feasibility studies of these possibilities are carried out.

Thanks to Cleaner Production Studies, enterprises reduce their costs and reduce their environmental impact by using fewer resources (water, raw materials and energy). To date, resource efficiency studies have been carried out in many facilities and the efficiency of the enterprises has been increased.

Upon the selection of Resource Efficiency as the working theme of 2020-2021 by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, intensive project and study activities on Resource Efficiency are being carried out between Development Agencies and TÜBİTAK MAM ÇTÜE.
