In cooperation with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Environment and Cleaner Production Institute (ÇTÜE) and Düzce Municipality, within the framework of the "Zero Waste" approach in the Biomethanization Section of the Integrated Solid Waste Sorting, Processing and Energy Generation Facility, pre-treatment methods that increase the biogas production potential will be investigated to determine the optimum working conditions and the suitability of facility wastes as soil conditioners will be investigated. The aim of the study is to bring organic waste materials back to the soil as fertilizer and protect the environment.

The 6-month study will address the co-evaluation of organic domestic waste and sludge from wastewater treatment plants in biomethanization plants.
