Nowadays, when our heroic army successfully continues the Syrian operation, TÜBİTAK MAM has accelerated its efforts to present its technical facilities and capabilities in the military field to the benefit of our Turkish Armed Forces. In this context; Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, visited the 1st Main Maintenance Center Command Tank Pallet Factory with the accompanying technical delegation and received information about the technical needs.
The visit started with a briefing on the factory and its products by Colonel Sinan Eren, Commander of the Tank Pallet Factory. Following the briefing, a technical meeting was held to determine the scope of the work to be carried out. The meeting was attended by Colonel Mustafa Süleyman Halilbeyoğlu, Head of the Engineering Services Department of the Land Forces Command; Hasan Zer, Advisor to the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu, Presidential Advisor to TÜBİTAK; Prof. Dr. Ali Ata and Murat Şahin, Presidential Advisors to MAM; Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Balıkçı, Director of the Energy Institute; Mehmet Ali Çimen, Deputy Director of the Energy Institute; and Ayhan Nazmi Elikan, Chief Researcher.
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, stated after the meeting that MAM Institutes will contribute to all kinds of technical improvements, especially in extending the life span and increasing the performance of the products produced at the Tank Pallet Factory. The cooperation between the two institutions will continue to increase within the scope of the agreed projects.
