M. Emin ALPMAN, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ROKETSAN, and the accompanying delegation visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on March 16, 2016 to examine its infrastructure and discuss potential cooperation opportunities.

The ROKETSAN delegation was welcomed by Ali TAVLI, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM / Vice President of Corporate Development, and was accompanied by Dr. İbrahim BEKAR, Vice President of Business Development and Industrialization at MAM, and the Managers of the Materials Institute, Chemical Technology Institute, Energy Institute and Business Development Unit. During the well-attended meeting, the delegation was informed about the structure of TÜBİTAK MAM and the R&D activities being carried out. Following the meeting, the delegation visited the casting and composite laboratory of the Institute of Materials, the energetic materials synthesis and characterization laboratory of the Institute of Chemical Technology and the battery laboratory of the Institute of Energy.

It was mutually emphasized that ROKETSAN and TÜBİTAK are open to joint cooperation and it was decided to sign a Cooperation Protocol as a preliminary step of cooperation.
