Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center.

The meeting was chaired by TÜBİTAK MAM Strategy and Business Development Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abit Balın. During the meeting, a detailed general introduction presentation about TÜBİTAK MAM's activities, broad areas of expertise and products was made by Chief Expert Yusuf Kılıç.

Expert Researchers made introductory presentations on TÜBİTAK MAM Industrial Biotechnology, Food Innovation Technologies, Food Safety and Quality, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency, Clean Energy Technologies, Sensor and System Technologies research groups. In the presentations, information was given on the areas of expertise of the research groups, their focus areas, products and services.

The visit was preceded by a CREA presentation by CREA's Researcher Antonio Scarfone, which set the stage for a comprehensive exchange of information and opportunities for cooperation.

Following the meeting, TÜBİTAK MAM Biodegradable Waste Recovery Laboratory, Turkey Food Innovation Platform (TÜGİP) Food Innovation Center, Incineration and Gasification Pilot Site were visited. CREA representatives were given detailed information about the work carried out in the laboratories.
