Turkey-Netherlands Solar Energy Bilateral Cooperation Workshop and Project Market organized by the Photonic Technologies Group of the Materials Institute of our Center was held on 07.06.2016 at TÜBİTAK MAM Conference Hall. While research centers and companies such as Solliance, Energy Research Centre of The Netherlands (ECN), The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Eternal Sun and Solar Decathlon Europe from the Netherlands participated in the event, more than 10 companies and universities related to photovoltaic solar energy from our country also participated.

The workshop started with an opening speech by Dr. İbrahim BEKAR, Vice President of Business Development and Commercialization at TÜBİTAK MAM, who introduced TÜBİTAK institutes, gave general information about the work carried out and emphasized the importance of photovoltaic solar energy. During the workshop, which continued with presentations made by representatives from the Netherlands and Turkey teams, research centers and companies were introduced to each other.

Project proposals and partnerships were evaluated for the project calls opened within the scope of the Horizon 2020 Program with a focus on the Energy Area Photovoltaic in the project market, where Turkey and the Netherlands participants had one-to-one meetings.
