The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is exhibiting a strong participation in TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025, which will be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for the first time this year. At the festival, which will be held at the Old Ercan Airport campus between May 1-4, 2025, TÜBİTAK will bring visitors together with science and technology with its main stand, two different thematic tents and many institutes.
Events in Three Different Fields from TUBITAK
BİLGEM, MAM, RUTE, SAGE, UME and UZAY institutes, as well as the Directorate of Science and Society (BİTO) will take part in this area. Scientific content, experimental workshops, technology applications and knowledge competitions for visitors of all ages will be organized at the stand.
Activities to be realized:
TUBITAK Science and Society Directorate
Participants in the digital knowledge contest to be held through the Bilim Genç mobile application will receive various prizes. Hydraulic Truck Making, Phenakistoscope Design, Periscope Making, Balancing Bird Design, Kaleidoscope Making activities will be carried out alternately by the Education Workshops and Science Centers units.

Social Innovation Competition Tent
A total of 86 finalist teams will showcase their projects at primary, secondary, high school and university levels. In the first three days of the festival, evaluations will be made in four jury rooms. A total of 8 foreign teams from Azerbaijan, Pakistan, TRNC and Afghanistan will participate in the competition. In the tent where approximately 260 students will take part, students will explain their projects to visitors and make presentations.
"Beyond the Horizon" Space Exhibition
The exhibition, organized by TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate, will include experiments by Turkey's first astronauts Alper Gezeravcı and Tuva Cihangir Atasever, the CUPOLA module, space mission items, astronaut patches, interactive devices such as the Space Traveler game and Astronaut Olabilir Miyim?, and the Science and Technique Photo Area.
TÜBİTAK aims to increase the interest of young people in science and bring all segments of society together with science and technology through scientific presentations, workshops, technology demonstrations and interactive content throughout TEKNOFEST KKTC 2025.
