H. E. Adnan Samara, President of the Palestinian Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence (HCIE) and the accompanying delegation were hosted by TÜBİTAK Vice President Dr. Orkun Hasekioğlu and MAM President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan on October 25, 2017. The cooperation talks between the two institutions, which were initiated some time ago, will be implemented with concrete programs and projects.

At the meeting attended by TÜBİTAK MAM and BİLGEM Managers and relevant researchers, it was decided to launch a bilateral call for university-industry collaborations in the first months of 2018 within the scope of Waste Water Management, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Energy and Information Technologies. In this context, a workshop will be organized in December 2017 in preparation for the call. TUBITAK will also provide scholarships and a research environment for Palestinian researchers.

During the meeting, information and experience was shared for joint projects on Waste Water Management with MAM Environment and Clean Production Institute.
