Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, members of the Board of Directors and a delegation of company representatives visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) within the scope of industry and TÜBİTAK cooperation. During the visit hosted by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, information was given about the capabilities and infrastructures of TÜBİTAK MAM Institutes, especially the Energy and Materials Institutes. Stating that TÜBİTAK MAM is the R&D center of the Turkish industry with its approximately one thousand R&D personnel and rich infrastructure, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, said: "Our institution is the solution partner of the Turkish industry. We claim this and we want to see industrialists here more often, we expect them to assign us tasks and assign us homework. Marmara Research Center is the most powerful R&D center established by our state. Our aim is to produce technology, and with this technology, to increase the technology intensity and added value of the Turkish industry. Therefore, I say to OSTİM and all industrialists, 'please come to us, see our infrastructure and let's work together'."

TÜBİTAK MAM Institutes' studies on fuel production from coal and its capabilities in thermal power plants were followed with close interest by OSTİM companies and it was agreed to transfer the know-how in these fields to our industry.
