TUBITAK Marmara Research Center started to provide industrial testing and analysis services in line with the demands from abroad. With 612 laboratories in 7 Institutes of our Center, which has an international accreditation certificate, an average of over 50,000 analysis services were provided to the domestic market annually.

In the request of a company from Germany, our Center was preferred due to the reliability of our results, and tensile tests were performed on packaging straps in the Mechanical Properties Laboratory of the Institute of Materials, and the results were reported and sent abroad.

Following the bilateral meetings during the TÜBİTAK MAM visit of the delegation from Tanzania, a Central African country, in September 2015, various parameter analyses of the essential oil samples sent to the Institute of Chemical Technology by Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO) were carried out and the report was sent to the counterpart institution.

Customs procedures of samples coming from abroad were carried out by our Center. Thus, test/analysis requests from abroad are also evaluated and foreign currency inflow to our country is ensured. Research studies are carried out at our Center in order to ensure that the test and analysis services that are not performed domestically but sent abroad are performed domestically and information and foreign currency remain in the country.
