Mehmet Akif Hut, Chairman of Uluova Süt Board of Directors, visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on Thursday, July 04, 2019.
At the meeting attended by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of MAM; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Şaban Tekin, Director of the Institute of Gene Engineering and Biotechnology (GMBE); Dr. Seçil Selçuk, Technology and Business Development Manager; and other relevant persons, Hut gave information about Uluova Süt and stated that they produce 40 tons of milk daily with a capacity of 3000 cattle and that they apply good agricultural practices at the highest level in animal production.
Afterwards, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, Head of the Center, gave information about the studies carried out at MAM Institutes in the fields of interest to the company, and stated that local natural products for elderly, sportsmen and children nutrition can be developed with solution partnership.
