Experts of our Polar Research Institute brought the poles to Hatay Antakya within the scope of TUBITAK 4007 DISASTER REGION "SCIENCE EVERYWHERE" SPECIAL SUPPORT CALL, which was carried out by Trabzon Provincial Directorate of National Education.

During the 7th National Antarctic Science Expedition, the science team experts, who were deeply saddened by the disaster on the continent, rushed to the disaster zone for our children affected by the earthquake as soon as the expedition ended. Polar Experts, who took part in the project realized with the support of TÜBİTAK, organized different workshops to improve our children's perspective on science, share their sorrow and ensure that they grow up in the light of science. In addition to children learning about polar bears and penguins, young children had fun coloring polar creatures. The designs of the products used in the polar workshop and the workshops were carried out by the experts of our institute.

The project work, which took place in Hatay Antakya in the last week of April, was successfully completed with the dedication of every participant.
