Experts of our Polar Research Institute brought the poles to Kahramanmaraş within the scope of TUBITAK 4007 DISASTER REGION "SCIENCE EVERYWHERE" SPECIAL SUPPORT CALL organized by Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.

During the 7th National Antarctic Science Expedition, the science team experts, who were deeply saddened by the disaster on the continent, rushed to the disaster zone for our children affected by the earthquake as soon as the expedition ended. Polar Experts, who took part in the project realized with the support of TÜBİTAK, organized workshops to improve our children's perspective on science, share their sorrow and ensure that they grow up in the light of science.

The project work, which took place in Kahramanmaraş in the first week of May, was successfully completed with the dedication of every participant.
