TÜBİTAK MAM - MARTEK Information Day organized in cooperation with TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) and Marmara Teknokent (MARTEK) was held on 6 December 2016.
Representatives of the companies in MARTEK and University students participated in the Information Day organized at TÜBİTAK MAM.
TÜBİTAK MAM started with the opening speeches of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President of Strategy and Technology Development and Dr. Orhan Çömlek, General Manager of MARTEK.
TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı stated in his speech that TÜBİTAK MAM is engaged in dynamic research and development activities, pointing out that the Center has grown 6 times in the last 3 years since 2014 with national and international projects, and mentioned the Open Door application for all companies, especially the private sector.
The Information Day continued with informative presentations by MARTEK and MAM Institutes. In his presentation, Dr. Orhan Çömlek, General Manager of MARTEK, gave general information about the Technopolis and shared information about the projects realized and carried out. In the presentations made by the Directors/Deputy Directors of TÜBİTAK MAM Environment and Cleaner Production, Energy, Gene Engineering and Biotechnology, Food, Chemical Technology, Materials, Earth and Marine Sciences Institutes, detailed information about the projects and industrial services (testing/analysis) carried out in line with the fields of study of MAM Institutes were shared. Following each Institute's presentation, newly prepared industrial service promotional films http://mam.tubitak.gov.tr/tr/icerik/test-analiz-tanitim-filmi monitored.
At the end of the program, a trip to TÜBİTAK MAM Institute laboratories was organized in line with the interests of the participants, and on-site information was provided to the participants by the experts of the subject.
