TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) aims to increase the interest of young people in scientific activities with the programs it organizes for high school and university students from various provinces of Turkey.

Students from Izmit Muammer Dereli Science High School, Kartal Language College, Kartal Language College, İstek Private Kaşgarlı Mahmut Anatolian High School and Ağrı within the scope of the MEB Biz Anadoluyuz Project were hosted and brought together with scientists in the science acquaintance events organized within TÜBİTAK MAM. Nearly 2500 students have visited TÜBİTAK MAM in the last 2 years.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, stated that they aim to increase the interest and curiosity of our students in science with such programs and made presentations to raise awareness of students by drawing attention to domestic production and domestic consumption. The students, who were informed about the activities carried out at TÜBİTAK MAM, learned about the scientific studies carried out by visiting laboratories from the experts of the subject.

In addition to school visits, many university students also find internship opportunities at TÜBİTAK MAM during the summer months.
