During the program held at TÜBİTAK MAM, competencies, technical capabilities and research infrastructures for joint work areas were evaluated and laboratories were examined on-site with the Ankara University delegation
TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) hosted the Ankara University delegation in order to introduce its research infrastructures and R&D activities and to evaluate areas with potential for cooperation.
In the first part of the program, presentations were made on the general introduction of TÜBİTAK MAM and the studies and existing infrastructures carried out by the CBRN Defense Technologies, Biotechnology, Sensor and System Technologies, Food Technologies and Climate Research and Water Management Research Groups operating within TÜBİTAK MAM.
During the visit, Ankara University delegation was led by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan. Prof. Dr. Nebile Dağlıoğlu, Director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences Forensic Toxicology USA / BÜTAM, Assistant Directors and expert academics from relevant faculties took part in the visit. The TÜBİTAK MAM delegation included CBRN Defense Technologies, Biotechnology, Sensor and System Technologies, Food Technologies, Climate Research and Water Management Research Groups and Strategy and Business Development Directorate under the leadership of Dr. Ersin Üresin, Vice President of Materials and Process Technologies.
In the second half of the day, laboratory visits were organized within the scope of technical briefings. In this context, the Biological and Chemical Test Center (BKTM) - CBRN and Biotechnology, Millimeter-Terahertz Frequency Materials, Antenna Design and Characterization Laboratory (MİLTAL) and Turkey Food Innovation Platform (TÜGİP) laboratories were visited.
The visit was completed after presentations, technical inspections and evaluations throughout the day.
