TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute participated in the "1st MycoKey Conference" in Belgium

"1st International MycoKey Conference" was held in Ghent, Belgium with 62 oral presentations, 102 poster presentations and 248 participants from 44 different countries.

 

At the conference organized by UGENT, a partner of MycoKey H2020 project, in collaboration with MyToolBox, another H2020 project on mycotoxins, food safety experts discussed the issues that should be prioritized about mycotoxins, which are a threat to the world in the food and feed chain. An oral presentation titled "Real-time electrochemical profiling assay method for detection of aflatoxin B1 in dried figs" was given by Dr. Hayrettin Özer, Lead Researcher at TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute.

At the 2nd General Assembly Meeting of the MycoKEY H2020 Project, organized simultaneously with the 1st MycoKey International Conference, the status of the work under the project, periodic results, outputs were shared and ongoing MycoKey activities were discussed. (http://www.mycokey.eu)
