With the aid mobilization initiated after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and causing devastation in 11 provinces, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) continues its aid efforts in order to heal the wounds to some extent.
In these days when we, as a nation, are pulling together to heal the wounds after the great devastation, we continue to play an active role in the fight against the disaster of the century both in the field and in scientific and technological research and development.
A total of 10 thousand boxes of hazelnut paste and croquant with high nutritional value and calories for children and adults were produced with great devotion by our expert researchers in the Hazelnut Line of TÜBİTAK MAM Food Innovation Center.
In this period, when hygiene is especially important in the earthquake region, 5 thousand hand sanitizers were produced by our expert researchers working within the TÜBİTAK MAM Chemical Process Technologies Research Group.
Apart from the productions, 15 thousand TÜBİTAK magazines to be sent to children in the region and 10 boxes of LGS question banks for 8th grade students took their place in the aid truck.
TÜBİTAK MARTEK, ÇAYIROVA SÜT and Altıparmak Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (BALPARMAK) also provided material support in the aid efforts carried out with great devotion and contributed to instilling morale in our earthquake victims.
5 thousand units of Apitera Propolis Spray licensed to BALPARMAK, 10 thousand units of BALPARMAK tube honey and 20 thousand units of probiotic yogurt produced in ÇAYIROVA SÜT with the culture developed by TÜBİTAK were sent to the earthquake zone.
In addition to production, TÜBİTAK MAM researchers also provided one-on-one support in the logistics of loading the products.
Our TÜBİTAK MAM aid truck and volunteer distribution team met with our earthquake victims in Gölbaşı, Adıyaman and Doğanşehir, Malatya.
