TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) and Turkish Cement Industrialists' Association (TÜRKÇİMENTO) Cooperation Development Meeting was held on January 18, 2023.
Dr. Mert Akel, Vice President of Material Technologies at TÜBİTAK MAM; Volkan Bozay, CEO of TÜRKÇİMENTO; Canan Derinöz Gencel, Environment and Climate Change Manager at TÜRKÇİMENTO; Serkan Türk, R&D Manager at TÜRKÇİMENTO; Murat İdris Sela, Vice President of Industrial Activities at OYAK Cement Concrete Paper Group; Galip Tekiner, Alternative Resources and Environment Director at OYAK Cement Concrete Paper Group; Ebru Sipahioğlu, Chief Technology Officer at LİMAK Cement Group, LİMAK Group Deputy Process Director Sabri Trabelsi, LİMAK Cement Group R&D and Innovation Leader Selin Yoncacı and leaders and researchers from TÜBİTAK MAM Air Quality and Environmental Noise Technologies, Earth Sciences, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency, Chemical Process Technologies, Clean Energy Technologies Research Groups participated.
Presentations were made by relevant experts from TÜBİTAK MAMT on potential areas of cooperation; Monitoring of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Storage Areas and Evaluation of the Performance of Capture Technologies, Overview of CO2 Capture and Evaluation Technologies, Our Carbon Capture Technologies Competencies, Geological CO2 Storage Application Project in Pilot Field.
After the presentations, the questions of the sector representatives were answered. The meeting program ended after the collective photo shoot.
