TÜBİTAK and Malaysia SIRIM to cooperate

A cooperation agreement was signed between TÜBİTAK and the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) to address possible cooperation issues in areas such as Biogas, Battery Systems, Methanol, Metrology, Cleaner Production and Water Management. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çelik, Vice President of TÜBİTAK, and Dr. Mohamad Jamil Sulaiman, Vice President of SIRIM Malaysia.

The agreement was signed during the visit of the Malaysian SIRIM Delegation to TÜBİTAK MAM on November 25, 2016. The delegation was welcomed by TÜBİTAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çelik and TÜBİTAK MAM President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu. The delegation was hosted at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), where they were informed about the activities of TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute, Materials Institute, Environment and Cleaner Production Institute and National Metrology Institute. The delegation left the TÜBİTAK Gebze campus with positive impressions.
