Kocaeli Chamber of Industry 8th Term 3rd Board of Directors and Assembly Meeting was held at TÜBİTAK MAM.
At the Assembly Meeting, which was attended by nearly 80 Assembly Members and chaired by Hasan Tahsin Tuğrul, Chairman of the Assembly of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (Chairman of DEIK Turkish-Australian Business Council, Vice Chairman of DEIK Turkish-New Zealand Business Council, Member of the Board of Directors of TACCI, General Council Member of ICC / WCF World Federation of Chambers) emphasized that the unemployment rate has gradually decreased in his speech in which he made economic evaluations. Zeytinoğlu thanked Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, for hosting the event.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, underlined that Kocaeli Industry is the producing power of Turkey and emphasized the integrated line of Information, Technology and Industry. Stating that Turkey's industrialization was carried out with a rapid acceleration, but that our country can become much stronger and more competitive with the entry of high technology products into the world market, he gave information to the members of the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Assembly in the form of a presentation about the work of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center. As TÜBİTAK MAM, he stated that their doors are always open to Turkish Industrialists. After the meeting, the Assembly Members visited Energy Institute TRIGEN Pilot Plant and Battery Laboratory, Materials Institute High Temperature Materials Laboratory and Underwater Acoustic Laboratory and exchanged views on what can be done in the field of cooperation.
Industrialists requested a "liaison office" in order to communicate with MAM more quickly.
After the visits, the participants were given lunch at MAM staff cafeteria.
