Hosted by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, the delegation headed by Cemal Demiryürek, Deputy Governor of Düzce-Kaynaşlı District Governor and İlhan Aydın, Provincial Director of Kocaeli Industry and Technology, visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center.

A presentation on the activities of TÜBİTAK MAM Institutes was made to the delegation, which also included the Directors of Kocaeli and Düzce Organized Industrial Zones, representatives of industrial companies operating in Kocaeli and Düzce provinces and managers of R&D institutions. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, gave information about the added value provided by high-tech products and emphasized the need to increase the share of high-tech products in Turkey's exports. Stating that TÜBİTAK MAM Institutes develop solutions for the high-tech product needs of our industry, he said that the private sector should benefit from the existing knowledge within MAM.

Düzce Deputy Governor-Kaynaşlı District Governor Cemal Demiryürek expressed his happiness to see the technological competencies of TÜBİTAK MAM on site and said that they will provide the necessary support for the companies to increase their cooperation with TÜBİTAK.
